The Role:

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Registry team as a Receptionist/Administration Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our University Centre, providing essential support to our students, staff, and visitors.

Location: University Centre, Registry Department

Hours: Part-Time (22.2 hours per week)

Working Days: Tuesday (finishing at 6 PM), Thursday, and Friday

Salary: £23,467 - £24,130 full-time equivalent, pro-rata based on contracted hours

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a key member of our Student Administration team, you will play a vital role in delivering a professional, responsive, and friendly service across the College. Your duties will involve:

  • Welcoming students, staff, and visitors, providing a warm and helpful first point of contact.
  • Assisting with a wide range of administrative functions including student enrolment, funding and eligibility, fee payments, data validation, and more.
  • Collaborating with various curriculum areas and service departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Offering general information, guiding visitors, solving problems, and effectively communicating messages.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and actively contributing to a positive and supportive environment.

About the Registry Department:
Our Registry Department is integral to the College, encompassing key functions such as Management Information & Funding, Student Administration, and Achievements.

Our team is spread across all campuses, providing dedicated support to each curriculum area and maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times.
