Yes, you can apply for as many apprenticeship vacancies as you want, as long as you meet our entry requirements. However, if successful at interview you will have to make the difficult decision of picking just one apprenticeship.
This all depends on the level of programme you're applying for. Please refer to the job description for more information.
Make sure your application form or CV matches the job role you are applying for. Use the job description and person specification to help tailor your application and do not worry if you do not have lots of previous work experience, instead tell us about things that will make you stand out, like if you have completed some voluntary, charity work, or taken part in special projects. Our apprenticeship specialists will be on hand to help you complete your application and CV if you need any extra support.
Providing feedback is really important to us, so at any stage of the application or interview process feedback is available on request. Whether you are successful or unsuccessful we are more than happy to help by providing you with feedback.
If you are successful at interview you will have to complete some checks before you can start, these include providing your identification documents, qualifications and also completing a DBS check. You will receive full support during this process, so don’t worry. Once completed you will receive a start date and your apprenticeship journey really begins.

All College employees are paid on the last working day of each month.
Yes, from day one of your apprenticeship you will be expected to hit the ground running, but you will get lots of support to help you achieve highly in your role.
We are looking for passion towards your chosen subject and for the College. We will provide training and knowledge that is specific to your role, but we cannot give you genuine interest and enthusiasm or a willingness to work hard. These need to come directly from you.
At B&FC, you will be provided with all the support you need to help you succeed in your apprenticeship. You will have support from other apprentices, your line manager, a buddy mentor, a dedicated Skills Coach and other employees.
There is no guarantee of a job on completion of an apprenticeship, however we will explore every opportunity to help you move into a permanent role. You will also be encouraged to apply for any other roles within the organisation which match the new skills and experience you will have developed through your apprenticeship.
