Travel and Parking
All Blackpool and The Fylde College campuses benefit from excellent transport links.
Access to each College campus is easy with the M55 motorway less than ten miles away and frequent rail and bus services are in operation. With regular rail links to and from Preston, Manchester and London, Blackpool and The Fylde College is accessible to students and staff from all over the country. There are also various bus services both locally and as part of a national network which provide an alternative way to travel for those in the surrounding areas.
Parking:
Free parking is available on each campus (with the exception of Seasiders Learning Centre) for all staff and visitors. Car parking is on a first come, first served basis for staff permit holders and visitors alike and we have a provision for those who hold a Blue Badge or have other special requirements.
Road:
For access to Blackpool and The Fylde College by car, the M55 is less than ten miles away from each of our main campuses giving easy access from most parts of the country.
Bus:
The town and surrounding areas are served by a number of reliable bus routes – for timetabling information, go to www.blackpooltransport.com or for national travel www.nationalexpressgroup.com
Tram:
Blackpool’s tramway is hugely popular with residents and visitors alike – currently, it’s undergoing extensive redevelopment as part of the town’s ongoing regeneration.
Rail:
There are regular trains to Blackpool from Preston, Manchester and London. Blackpool North railway station is a 20 minute walk from our University Centre or you can catch the bus to our Bispham campus.

Cycle:
If you’re feeling fit, you could always hire-a-bike from one of the many bike stations located throughout the area. Cycle Lockers are available for rent, subject to a waiting list Comprehensive cycle routes and information can be found on the Blackpool Council website.
