The Role:

Due to the current post holder moving into a new role/promotion, Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Estates team as a Project & Building Compliance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in ensuring statutory compliance across the College's estates, while managing capital projects, service contracts, and maintenance programmes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

As a key member of the Estates team, you will be instrumental in supporting and delivering the College’s building and compliance strategy. Your primary duties will involve:

-       Manage capital projects and building compliance across the College, ensuring facilities are delivered on time, within budget, and meet statutory standards.

-       Oversee planned, cyclical, and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring minimal disruption to curriculum delivery.

-       Ensure health and safety compliance, including CDM2015 regulations, through effective collaboration with the College's Health and Safety team.

-       Manage tendering, procurement, and contract performance for building projects, ensuring value for money and adherence to College policies.
