The Role:

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking two passionate and innovative Lecturers in Fashion, Textiles and Costume to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of creative professionals while contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking academic environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

As a Lecturer in Fashion, Textiles and Costume, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and support to our students. Your main duties will involve:

  • Delivering and managing inclusive learning, teaching, and assessment to a high standard.
  • Assisting with curriculum design, development, and quality improvement.
  • Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Enhancing learning through digital and face-to-face teaching tools (e.g., VLE).
  • Contributing to the academic community through research, scholarship, and professional practice.
