The Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Directorate for Students Team as a Higher Education, Adults and Apprentices Inclusion Manager. This role focuses on implementing the college’s strategies for SEND and Inclusion across Higher Education, Adult Education, and Apprenticeships. It involves developing and executing effective operational plans to deliver an outstanding learner experience, staying ahead of external changes, and enhancing the college’s reputation through innovation in learning support and inclusive practices. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee the College’s HE, Adults and Apprenticeship student support, and inclusion teams on a day-to-day basis providing dynamic and effective operational line management to key members of the team
  • Cultivate Excellence: Build a high-performing team that embodies accountability, clarity of vision, and shared objectives, while fostering the growth and development of each member's skills, knowledge, and competencies.
  • Champion Compliance: Stay abreast of and implement legislative changes related to special, educational needs and disabilities, collaborating with academic and professional bodies to ensure full compliance with national and local standards.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with colleagues across the College to deliver high-quality, individualised support to students, ensuring teaching staff are equipped with effective support strategies and inclusive practices.
